• Windermere on Queens, a 24-unit condo conversion
project at 301 Queens Road in Myers Park, is sold out -- and it didn't
take long.
Developers Frank Martin of Landcraft Properties and
Kevan Smith of LandSmith Real Estate Services began accepting contracts at
11 a.m. Tuesday.
Buyers put at least 30 offers -- some for more money
than the list price -- in front of him within the first 30 minutes, he
said .
Affordability was a factor. Helen Adams Realty
listed the two-bedroom, two-bath units -- each 895 square feet -- for sale
from $119,900 to $136,900.
Smith said the sales and development team now will
work with buyers on closing dates. The first units are expected to be
ready for occupancy at the end of July.
