on the Trolley

I visited my first loft in New York City the night the lights went out...this loft was large, open, versatile, had hardwood floors, exposed iron beams and smelled of the artist's oil paints and cigarettes. It was great. Our lofts are a little different in Charlotte and invite play for the imagination. Pictured below is Elizabeth Lofts. They are in historic Elizabeth.

Lofts are usually marketed as one bedroom, one bath.  While I have seen some with very nice finishes, most seem to be industrial...concrete, steel beams, and leave you to your imagination.
