Ninth Inning - Closing
Pitch 1 - Walk Through
The importance of being out .
As the seller it is best for you to be completely out of the house. That way
the buyer and their agent can walk through the house making sure everything
is in good shape. If you cannot be out, there is a form you should sign. You
may also be responsible for a per diem for the time you are in after the
closing. A good rule is...be gone.
Pitch 2 - Closing
The signing of documents and the disbursal of funds after the deed
has been recorded.
In North Carolina, closings take place in an attorney's office. Usually
but not always, everything has been worked out before everyone gathers at
the closing table.

Estate Pros.
Pitch 3 - Disbursement of funds.
Checks will be disbursed after the deed
is recorded. Good to remember if you are planning back to back closings.
Remember planning ahead allows for you to make the first closing, the deed
to be recorded, double-back to pick up check and on to the next closing .
